Kentlake 21, Auburn Mountainview 20: It was a wild finish between the Falcons and Lions as a late touchdown pushed Kentlake ahead with less than two minutes left in the game.

Entering the fourth quarter down 17-7, Brandon Mortenson escaped the Lions defense on a broken play where he found Alex Lopez for a 25 yard pass to set it up at the two yard line.

Tony Heimann punched it in and the Falcons made it a one score game. The defense then stood up as they held the Lions to only a field goal on the ensuing drive, leaving three minutes on the clock.

Mortenson again found his receiver, this time in Jeremiah Woods, for the 68 yard pitch-and-catch that would ultimately give the Falcons the lead with a minute and a half left. After back to back sacks on third and fourth down, the Falcons ran out the clock.
